Elizabeth Cook, APRN, PMHNP-BC, DNP
Elizabeth is a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric and adolescent mental health promotion. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Lakeview College of Nursing and her psychiatric nurse practitioner and doctorate degree from Rush University. She worked as an RN for 8 years, caring for various populations with mental health concerns in a wide variety of settings. She spent 4 years of that time as a travel nurse, during which she worked at numerous institutions delivering pediatric and adolescent mental health care.
She has a strong passion for mental health promotion and care, particularly for the pediatric and adolescent population, and delivers care with a holistic approach. Elizabeth is board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner through the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) and is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA).
